All the more reason to have lots of IPs on the table!

I mean they do, but apparently the narrative from some people is Wicked has to go to USF because that's the only IP which will save the dumpster-fire of a theme park... A narrative which I disagree with on pretty much every level.

I just don't think we should be putting a blanket veto on any IPs for USF, especially when it seems likely Pokemon isn't happening there. The park needs all the help it can get, however it can get it, and as soon as possible.

They were 1 or 2 key decisions away from building Super Mario Land here. A very non-cityscape land, based on a series of video games.

I think the land of Oz would fit in just fine in a park based around Hollywood studio sets, Universal IP, and classic films. Like, c'mon guys. :nervous:

SNW was not going to be on the waterfront and it was going to be behind a wall/warp pipe. The sight line of Oz/Wicked would be atrocious unless tucked behind something. Nor do I want to look across and see San Francisco from Oz. I want full 360 immersion in Oz. Anything less would be a travesty.

Simpsons is quite literally the absolute worst location for Oz/Wicked.

I feel like the hope for anything in this location would be some kind of Diagon or SNW-style border surrounding it.

I totally understand not wanting to see MiB from Oz, but even then, I can't see looking at the Emerald City in the distance from across the lagoon as being anything but beautification for the park; especially as opposed to the ugly Simpsons / BTTF building they've currently got there.

USF already has nonsense sightlines, because that's just the kind of park it is. My only ask is that the sightlines look pleasant; and Oz certainly would look beautiful.
