I really hope they don’t bring back depths this soon. It was a ok house but the creature design just looked ridiculous.

Also, they burned the fish heads after the last night of the event. Not sure how much of the rest of the costume was kept or if they gave up on the whole thing.

I would say a moment of silence for those suits, but im not sure that they deserve the respect. I loved the fact that they burnt them on the last night. I hope someone took a picture of that.

So a sequel house based on an oil rig that burned down and charred the brooders?

That would make sense, I mean they could come up with a reason to make them look more disfigured and probably further their transformation maybe, I think that would probably be for the best but the costumes were definitely interesting, they were like side characters from the Spongebob Show, literally looked like a place that Spongebob and his friends would run into trying to get back to their home lol.

They had enough of being typed casted on the show and they got pissed and decided to rebel against the humans and well what happened happened XD

Also TCM Next Generation was made as a parody of many slasher films at the time and really made Leatherface a bleeder, I mean it just fit well and the fact that they said it was the true sequel to TCM was very bad, I mean it could have been good if they tried to their best with the script and the acting, McConaughey was really good bad but very strange but it just didn't cut it for me.

If they had made the parasite more bacterial (like in the house logo) I think Depths May have been better received. But then again, people would’ve complained about lack of corporeal creatures. I loved the house nonetheless.

I think so at least. It was hinted in RingWraith's post about haunted houses in the 30 years house. It could also correspond with the Terra Cruentus house on the speculation map.

Okay, heres what they could do with Depths: Personally, The house was okay to me, but these two scenes could fit well in the rumored anniversar house. Either A. The long hallway scene that was probabl my favorite scene from the house because of the way screens were incorporated. or B. The Escape Pods scene. Another scene I loved. Both of these scenes could work well in an anniversary house.

Depths was good, I appreciate it for other reasons, I love the house but definitely had moments where I'd look at some of the characters and be sorta confused at times but it was alright, I'm sure if they use a scene from the house it would be the self-destruct sequence scene with one of the fish people popping out one of the holes and another being an infected crewmate.

Also, I thought Terra Cruentas was off the table and only going to be represented in a small way in the anniversary house, so it's still getting its own house still?

To be fair, they burn most of the masks after the event.

As someone who had to suffer in the costume once...I can confirm. They were awful. Not comfortable. Extremely limited movement. Heavy. You needed someone to assist with all the snaps and ties. Barely any visibility (they constantly had to widen the eyeholes). They weren’t designed with the performers in mind, hence why they disappeared halfway through the run. I’m so glad I ended up being hard cast in a different house after the first weekend.

Sure they probably keep some. But more importantly, the molds still exist.

Thank you for enduring that. I've heard from several people how hard the experience was. Its not even like the compensation for the work is all that good. Hopefully you get a better role this year if you go for one. I have mad respect for you and other team members who have to put up with stuff like that.

In every HHN position I’ve ever been in, they burn masks and costume pieces at the end. They’re so beat up by the end that they’re mostly beyond repair and it’s cheaper to replace.
