I wonder if this will be the last year with this specific plot.

Love the 2024 show, but have to wonder if the leaves of change finally affect The Purge on a larger note. Regardless, I wonder what they do in comparison to last year's show--which felt like it tightened up the pacing and upped the visual graphics of the blood.

I for one will appreciate the formal confirmation that the 2025 version will be largely identical to the 2024 version, so I know whether to skip it or not.

It is super cool that Dangerous Waters is so popular, and I love that for everyone who likes it, but it would be cool if they mixed it up a bit more every year. (Even Nightmare Fuel, which I know for many feels repetitive, has a different theme / story / overlay each year.)

Like WW its just a solid show and I don't see many wanting WW gone after its 30 years around

The show to me is great and just lots of fun and it eat people so glad its back

I’m just happy we have a show in this venue. It’s very uniquely Hollywood and I love Waterworld so I enjoy it every year.

My one thing is I wish they could figure out a way to incorporate the seaplane. Otherwise, this is a consistently entertaining show that fills the stadium and takes people off the streets. It's also outright horror in a way that Jabowokeez never was.

Question to ask--I presume the reason why the Seaplane isn't used, is as a result of a longer reset period? Less time to be actually able to do a show if you can't reset the seaplane in fast-timing.

I assume combination of reset time and simple resources. Takes more techs to prep, launch, and reset the plane.

I guess I'll see it this year, I skipped it last year to do more maze repeats (due to the hot weather making the mazes empty on my first run throughs). As long as history doesn't repeat itself, I might as well check it out.

The WW show uses 5 stagehands, 2 stage managers and 2 animation techs. The purge has 7 stagehands. Both shows do 4 performances each day so I don't think reset time is an issue. Although time might be an issue because there is more pyro - but then there's more crew.

I think the main reason is the launch area is used for Dante's entrance.

I liked the tweaks they made last year, so hopefully they keep pushing that a bit further to refine things. Gimme a place to sit and some new gore and stunts each year and I'm happy.

I probably won't see this opening night since I'll be prioritizing all of the houses, but I may try to see this later in the event's run!

I've seen it 3 times. Its still a fast paced, stunt show at night. I just love all its doing with the lasers, actions, extra fire effects, blood effects and the firework finale


Perfect place to walk up to and rest your feet and enjoy a show. Heck if you just need a break I think they open the gates 20 mins before show time so you can come in and rest more if need be but I love I can just walk up to it 5 mins before and find a nice seat
