Wow weird dream!

I was walking around my neighborhood when i walked up to my local shop, I then realized it was Zonko's. I walked in and J.K.Rowling was standing inside but the shop was pretty much empty. I walked up to here and said oh my god your J.K.Rowling, in her hand she had a pick 'n' mix scooper and she was moving sparkley red sugar in to cups (i know wtf) so i started talking to her as if i was an interviewer. I asked her did she have alot of input on what Universal created and wernt aloud to do (like harry potter not being there except in the ride) she answered that universal have done exactly what she wanted and made it better than she imagined. So we keep on talking and i then ask her has she rode FJ she said it was the most amazing thing ever she said it was scary but not over the top, she also mentioned that the ride was finished and there would be special previews for those who could complete a task. And thats all i remember very strange i know but kinda cool just shows how much TWWOHP is on my mind

I only dreamt about the FJ had a extra fake mountain that covered the show building,

On cfnews13 Allison asked the Universal spokesman if the show building was going to be covered up. And he totally avoided the question. I know that Universal knows that they screwed up big time with the show building. I think this is why Universal spent so little money on Potter. Not much money was spent on the outside of FJ. Disney spent a lot more on Everst because about 90% of the show building was covered. Uni has 50% of Potters FJ show building covered up with themeing.I think that if they just painted it a taupe color like the castle it will look much better and be more realistic.

Hey Potter fans. I'm writing to tell you about an event we are having at the Mad Cow Theatre in Orlando on April 23rd. It is a forum of designers and will include Alan Gilmore. He is the art director for the Prisoner of Azcaban and the Goblet of Fire films and the creative lead for the Wizarding World. ALL proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. We are doing this to support one of our designers, Stephanie Girard, who is batteling colon cancer. There will be a group of Halloween Horror Nights designers there as well and a silent auction. Will they be showcasing their work or just doing a Q&A? It sounds like a great thing whichever it is!

Nice! :rep: Thanks for sharing! Too bad prices aren't included... I'm sure they're still figuring that out, though. Some new things on there that I hadn't heard of before, like the ham soup.

How annoyed do you think Universal would be if someone jumped up that wall and had their picture taken on Hagrid's front steps?

Shh!!! That's HONESTLY the first thing I thought of doing when I saw it. haha! But SHH!! I don't want them to put a fence!

If it's not going to be themed, sky blue is the best option to paint it. If they make it look like rock or anything else other than the sky or something with forced perspective (like another hill or fake trees shrinking as they go up) it would ruin the forced perspective of the facade.

As I said before, Universal should try to draw attention away from the big ugly building, not right at it. :bonk:

No matter what color they paint it, it's still going to be visible and thus destroy the otherwise perfect illusion. Definitely a fail IMO.

I have an idea...but it might sound and look better in the mind than in reality.

Place a evenly balanced wall along the end of the cliff work to the very right. Paint a skyline of trees. Then plant a bunch of trees in front of it...the same trees as the ones on the left. Thus, creating an illusion of a forest that goes for yards!

They have the fake trees on the Indy show building at Disneyland, and it looks horrible. Of course it's only visible from DtD, not from Disneyland because Disney actually knows how to build things.

& YES the show building is going to drive us crazy but just get used to it because not much more will be done
