Well yea it was open today and according to my cousin who is going to be working in the magic shop, he does close up magic and one of the shops in there wiill be for actual "muggle" magic. Anyways the ride was open for roughly an hour for a few select team members and the first reviews were the ride was absolutely incredible. There was no problems with any of the sets or pieces, the whomping willow is a mixture of both a physical and screen version of it according to my cousin. The dementor effect with the fog screen truly was one of the coolest things he has ever experienced. And most rumors are pretty true with what is included in the ride. The ride video is full high defnition of course and make you truly feel like you are apart of the action.
It seems that it is true about not being able to cycle all of the vehicles cause he told me they only have about half of them running at the same time right now, but he said besides some landscaping and a few little things here and there the entire land is ready to go and it shouldn't be a problem with having softs mid - April just like the rumors have been leaked out. When it comes to hiding the show building, they will be planting some trees, but nothing that will immediately cover it up, but from ground level he said its not so bad.
Thought I'd share some interesting info guys.
