Something going on at the Hogsmeade stage.

THIS, was rumored to me almost a year ago. While I cannot be sure it is what was rumored, it is curious... I believe I was told that operations does not like the location of the current stage. Let's see what happens. ;)

Maybe barbed wire on the edge to keep people from lounging on it? Oh, wait that is the mouse house, they want you up and moving not sitting.....

Well now I'm intrigued. I assumed it would be nothing interesting but it would be great to do something about the bottleneck there during shows.

I was just there. It is so crowded when they do the shows that I hope they can figure out some way to improve the stage area. We enjoyed the shows, but the traffic jam there is miserable.

^Supposed to be a simple re-surfacing. General maintenance.

I went to universal this weekend and I went to hogsmeade. Not only was it a zoo like it always is, but it looks a little worn out. I rode HPFJ and it was very bad. I saw the floor, the cars next to me, the lunging mechanics by the dementors. The screens looked like the worst graphics I've ever seen them have. The ride feels like less flying, and more swinging you from scene to scene. The ride in general was much less dark. I saw the edge of the dome screen. I saw basically everything that they don't want you to see. Before I get into more detail about this I've been on grongotts and at the end when Bill finishes telling you it's the safest place on earth, I look back at the same screen and I can see when it changes back for the riders behind us. It ruins it but I keep on doing it. Back to topic. Hogsmeade in general just doesn't give me that Harry Potter feel, that diagon alley gives me. I love DC but I rode it and it's fun, and I'm was the First one to say don't take it out, but I rode it and I was just like EHH. If they announce a Project that could wow me I'm all for the replacement. I saw the show building much more this time by jp. Hogsmeade should be rptouching up the village every night for it to looke it's best just like Disney. They could also add more foliage. That could give it a much more submersive feel. They should just add in general more detail. Diagon alley had announcements from the ministry playing on the old record player looking speakers. That's detail right there. Hogsmeade should get a refurb

Where were they potentially going to move it? I can't think of a non bottle neck area.

Maybe they're waiting for DC to close for another e-ticket, indoor, dark thrill ride /the expansion of hogsmeade.

There was buzz that operations was sick of dealing with it where it currently is. Where to, well that is Universals problem right? For now, it seems the idea was abandoned.

Perhaps when DC is gone they will have a bit more room to expand it
