There's still quite a lot of physical sets and details and facades to install, not to mention the back half hasn't even been started on, and then there's ride testing, etc etc etc. The earliest in a perfect world would be February 2016 but it'll most likely be Spring 2016 .

It's gonna be such a tease to see a finished Hogsmeade for almost a year though...haha

That's true, you're basically right.  Although the Forbidden Journey show building is practically up.  All they gotta do is put the big Hogwarts facade on that.  It would be great if we could get a clearer idea of what the unique part of this WWOHP will be versus the other two.

Well, they also need to build the ride inside..!

Something to keep in mind through all of this is that although the exterior may be complete, there's still a lot going on inside the buildings. We'll soon reach a slow point, just as we are with Springfield.

You also have to remember. The amount of intricate detail inside and out as a part of Wizarding World is extraordinary. It'll take a while.

UPDATE guys I asked the head manager at USH today at guest services about Potter and she said that it will NOT be as big as Orlando! But the good news is that it almost is in terms of size of Hogsemade. Not the Forbidden Journey nor Hogwarts Castle.

Yeah, because it's impossible for us to install Dragon Challenge here ;) That alone would take up most of USH haha.

Forbidden Journey and Hogwarts are expected to be identical, with rumored little improvements here and there.

Hogsmeade is expected to be identical to Japan.

So I guess Japan Hogsmeade is smaller than Orlando?

No, pretty much the same size, just a few stores are in different locations or bigger.

Yes becuase Islands of Adventure's WW has Dragon challenge which adds a few extra acres of land. Remove that and it's a smaller plot of land than Japan and Hollywood's WW.

I just went to the park today and snapped several photos of the Wizarding World construction.  It's all looking VERY promising so far!  Snow's already beginning to cover one of the Hogsmeade buildings and big news is...the HOGWARTS FACADE IS BEGINNING TO COME UP!!  They started building the initial base structure for the facade and one of the steel roofs of Hogwarts is currently worked on outside the FJ building! The entrance arch is now out of housewrap and behind tarps and I believe the stone will soon be installed on the Hogsmeade train station!

Did they take down the walls in front of Pink's? That paving with the nice squares looks new and not temporary at all unless they just shifted the walls. Also, how is it one photo has the umbrellas and another doesn't?

Yes! They did!  The theming's pretty sweet this year all over the park for the holidays too!  And have you guys seen this Production Central store yet?  That is located right across from the Wizarding World Entrance.  They're definitely beginning to build Hogwarts now too.

Kinda- I didn't really pay much attention to the paving though.  I mostly just focused on the Wizarding World construction itself.

Wow!  Agreed!  This is nice and unexpected.  The best look for the Animal Show gift shop ever!

Wow wow wow! What a difference new paving, trees, and classy "old Hollywood" Spanish architecture will do! That looks fantastic! USH is really trying to get rid of all the garish facades and signs!

Makes me even more excited for what they're doing in the park entrance!

The refreshed store facade and the new flooring both look very nice.
