I think they would be crazy to leave out things like the ice cream or Gilly Water. They have already put it through R&D, it's ready to go. Give it to as many as possible. I guess time will tell though.

Gillywater is actually sold in Hogsmeade in IOA now. I'd love to see Butterbeer ice cream make its way here. I believe the only two flavors sold in Hogsmeade are strawberry and PB&J.

Just a quick note, I cant believe they dont sell Coke products in Wizarding World. JK Rowling is very strict.

Why on earth would you want Coke when you can have Butterbeer, Gillywater, or Pumpkin Juice?!?!?!

I think it makes it even more immersive that they don't sell soda products

Since everyone is focused on Springfield today I figured I'd provide some Hogsmeade updates.  I visited at 9am then came back around 5pm.  Don't want you confused by the shadows jumping around.

Walls around the arch are as minimal as they have ever been.  Also of note, the new window on one end of the great hall.  Also, looks like they're close to starting Densglass sheathing on the tower.

So close, yet so far! Gonna be torture passing a finished Hogsmeade soon! But it'll go by fast, same as with Springfield. I feel like it was just yesterday that I ate for the last time at Doc's!

What's kind of interesting about Hogsmeade is that once the Wizarding World open, more than half of Hogsmeade will already technically be a little over a year old! Definitely helps with the whole "lived in" feeling.

Very exciting! I wonder if they'll be able to push the walls in just a bit further within the coming weeks. Couldn't hurt to have them sit just behind the entrance arch, right..?

Multiple people at the park today advertising and telling people that it will open early 2016. This includes the studio tour guide, workers at guest relations, greeter and studio tour, and construction workers.

I kind of had a feeling.  Any specifics like March 2016 and what will be there?

Considering all Season Passes expire March 18th, it will 100% be after that.

Well I think they would want all the AP members to come see it for a bit of time. Less than a month and force them to renew it?

No, they DON'T want Annual Pass members to see it for a bit, that's the exact reason why they just changed the annual passes to stricter Season Passes that have a set expiration date.

It would be a huge tease and a mean one if Universal did it couple of weeks before AP expires.

Sounds about right to me- Universal usually does all of their openings in the Spring or Summer.  Do you guys think they'll start announcing the details of our Wizarding World once Fast & the Furious opens?

No, I think it'll be another Superbowl thing.

Really?  That's only a month before opening though.  I'd imagine they would be announcing it at the end of this year at the very least.
