Here's a mini-update from my visit yesterday:

A look at FJ from the Studio Tour bridge. More skeletal framing has been installed for the rock-work under the Great Hall. Also, I think we can all agree now that we'll be seeing trees here!

We'll, not coming as a surprise, but tress are now being planted on the hill that is seen from the studio tour bridge! Credits to twitter account (@Live4Coasters) Sorry for the lack of photos since I'm using the mobile site!

Good catch. This essentially confirms that there will be no path connecting Hogsmeade to the Studio Tour loading area.

Not anytime soon. It would definitely serve the park good as it's the least successful of all the Universal parks, but there's just no room and no logical place to put it at the moment. There had been talks about a possible Far Far Away eviction, but those rumors were immediately dismissed by the introduction of their newest Puss in Boots coaster.

I have no insider knowledge in the realm of USS, nor do I follow the park closely enough to make a legitimate inference, but my educated guess is that it might have a possibility of being added later on down the road.

I remember seeing a pic of Resorts World and I couldn't believe that USS was this tiny little spec in it all. I think it's even odder than Hollywood... basically Universal fun-size attached to resort as a sort-of "amenity". Not only are there space issues, but operations-wise they make horrible decisions. Suffice it to say: they were given the opportunity to add Minion Mayhem, a relatively low-cost, easy-to-install, extremely popular attraction, and they PASSED.

They aren't getting Potter anytime soon.

Do you think they'll add another Potter entrance over where the old Gibson entrance was next to Waterworld? Like a back entrance.

Yeah, I remember hearing how they almost got Minion Mayhem but passed on it. If they passed on that, and already have limited land as-is, I doubt Potter is coming over.

Potter is rumored to be coming to Universal Studios Beijing anyway, so I think that's that.

Took this photo last night.  With the level of completion and all the new trees it reminded me of a photo I took in Florida on Dec 28.  Kinda cool, I thought.

Nice photo! It looks like the castle will be hidden from the studio tour bridge after all! Well, part of it that is.

You would pretty much need sequoioideae trees to hide Hogwarts Castle from the bridge and at that point the forced perspective is ruined. The castle will be very much visable, which isn't a problem. That view is going to be gorgeous once all the foliage sets in.

 I did some measuring on Google Maps and both Orlando and Hollywood have pretty much the exact same show building size for FJ.

Good information man. Wow, thank god for the Amphitheatre. I always wondered how USH would ever get the space. Absolutely amazing.
