^ I think they've installed infrastructure for the ticket booths in that location. Wouldn't make to place non-active machines there just yet.

^ that's what I've heard. Further proof that the land won't soft open during Grinchmas. They'd need the machines for soft opening as well.

Hopefully this means they'll be able to finish it rather quickly now. Curious to see it completed. Wonder if they will make it a "covered" bridge..

Won't be covered, it will actually look very plain. The finished product will look similar to what it is now. Here is are some concept art.

That is unfortunate. Thanks for posting the concept art :)  For some reason, I don't know why, but the concept art for this new bridge gives me a Star Trek futuristic vibe. Probably due to everything looking clean/white.

Yeah, it's either going to be all white or all black. Even though it is white in the concept art, they are painting it black. The only time I've been excited for a bridge. Lol

Inside the park near the new photos window the pavement in the center of the walkway has been replaced.  It's not detectable in this photo but the surface is rather sparkly the way Hollywood Boulevard used to be (I don't think it glitters anymore).  Obviously this project is not done.

This bridge looks rather narrow to me and it's hard to imagine it can handle busy day capacity.  In the concept rendering above it's shown with very few people walking across.  I predict crowds waiting for the elevator will make for quite a bottleneck.

There will be escalators to keep the crowd flow.  With trains arriving every 10-20 minutes, I doubt there will be much foot traffic on the bridge at one time.  Now waiting for a hilltop tram...that is another story!

According to OCDisney USH is following along with the other parks and installing metal detectors at the park entrance. Hopefully someone can get photos.

I heard Disney is only checking some people, did they pull you out of line or did they check everyone? Feels like magic mountain now lol.

I'm thrilled USH and Disney are doing this now! Long overdue! It's been way too easy to sneak anything into both parks. That suicide by gun at USH by SSFL could've been a whole different situation if the moron decided to take others with him. I'm surprised USH didn't install anything after THAT.

I wish at Disney that they'd make everyone go through the detectors, not just random people.
