Not sure if it’s been posted yet, but apparently Transformers will be closing for a major refurbishment in Jan that will last several months! Lots of employees to either transfer to other areas or face unemployment.

Hoping the screen where Optimus gets downed gets fixed, it's been stalling for a while now when Optimus gets Megatron off him.

I’m really glad they’re finally putting some money into fixing it. The screens have been looks kinda crappy for a while. It needs it.

Not cool that the employees of the ride might get let go. Not cool.

You basically are told that if the ride goes down they will try and help you but it goes by seniority…

Good. The ride needs it BADLY. I don’t think this thing has ever had a significant refurb. The screens are in rough shape and so is the sound system.

Is this thing shut down for refurb already? If so that makes me hopeful this ride be restored back (or at least close) to where it was when it opened.

Yeah, the shutdown started yesterday. I had noticed some of the screens were really dark, and the heat effect wasn’t working consistently.

Pfft. That happened December 13th, 2015 for USH
(Orlando was June 30th, 2013)

but yes... I'm having quality time with EVAC withdrawals. Such a crime we didn't get him as a photo-op character at any of the parks *sigh*
