II was in the park before the event, had EA and Express and could not manage to get everything done
The issues for me started at the Scooby Doo and the Monsters attraction, great idea but just too many people at the clue area's was hard to get a look at the clues, let alone talk to most the characters once the third tram dropped off. I got food ASAP and saw the line was insane later. The sets are amazing to walk through and its cool to see the monsters there but the way you try to solve the mystery is I think just not working because of how many people are i the area
The Reveal show is fun and I would stand back so you can see more of it, then there was a 5-10 min wait for the next tram, HHN the next tram is just there to pick you up and think they should try this for this attraction as well
After about 2 hours with the tram rides, got back and used express on HP took 30 mins and got lucky my first go and could mostly see everything but on my second run, I swear to you I was so far back I could not hear any of the story and if I did not do it before would have no idea whats going on. The HP attraction right now is dammed if you do and dammed if you dont, if you let too many people in some get a bad experience but then the line gets insane. Its amazing what they did with this tiny space but because HP, One Piece, and Scooby Doo are the main things people are going to its hard to experience some of the offering correctly
The One Piece show is my highlight this year, its funny, creative and just well done. Props to USH for making another amazing show, no Idea why we only have one big show in the park when clearly they have talented team that is more then up for the challenge of making amazing entertainment.
Waited in line for the One Piece characters for an hour then they were going on a 30-40 min break because of the show, no one warned us about this and just told us when it happened. To remember everyone One Piece had 3 meet and greets last year, except the last 90 mins when they had all of them in one line. So because last year with Wicked we had 4 meet and greets and this year we have 2, the lines for these are just not moving that quickly
The One Piece food line was a joke all night, good for them but yeah making a guest spend 60-90 mins to get food when the events hours were cut short and many attractions close at 11:30 or midnight. Im not saying you can't do it all but there is like a proper order here to do everything when even HHN allows for you to do some mixing and matching to see everything in one night (at hollywood at least)
Didn't see the Yoshi's because the One Piece line took up so much time, second round of D&D was fun because there were less people. Jurassic I didn't see much but the actors are amazing.
End with HP the second time about 15+ mins with express at the end of the night and could not see or hear much so.....think I was better off at D&D or Sailor Moon
Anyway, I hope people who went had a fun time and I hope they work out some issues this event seems to be having, I know last year wasn't perfect but felt more manageable and either too many people are being let in, the IPs that are hot are too hot and some offering are just not drawing people to them or there is just not a lot to do. The Plaza and french street are empty and could have had something int he plaza even meet and greets for other animes, or a Resident Evil fan zone, or another fan zone or live music and some photo ops and french street could have had Wicked but area's of the park are just empty while others have too many people.
So my first thoughts on the event
