I think we will--DND and the material WOTC has brings a lot of potential to the table in creatures. Also helps that we are also spending the money and capital also on other puppetry/creature tech this year with the inclusion of the magical creatures.
Also helps in the context of what has been described, that there isn't really a *practical way* to do Xanathar as a costume--given the type of creature he is.
