Update: most likely won't be going tomorrow either. Not sure when I'm going now! Ugh. Looks like the event is a lot of fun though from all the videos and pictures I'm seeing.

Hill Valley is worth the price of admission alone as far as I’m concerned. Fantastic work from the set decorators and walk-around actors.

Even sold out, seeing wait times at 5 to 15 minutes for practically everything right now is what I would kill to see at HHN., haha. If the waits are like this on a sold out night, then I'm far less stressed out about going on Sunday.

Is tonight media night? If so, the capacity might be a lot less than normal nights like HHN does in their opening night and then in the later nights. But overall, it still does look like a mass amount of people from the pictures I've been seeing tonight so let's hope Uni doesn't get greedy and try to oversell this event for the next coming weeks.

I wasted money on express

Too tired to do a full review but of crowds are similar to this it’s easily worth it

BTTF and D&D are easily my favorite attractions for this event
The meet and greets lines are hit or miss. They especially need to always have a green Yoshi out, every 15 mins switch but him being in break this much really hurts that experience, I couldn’t met him because the line was closed before he came out

The egg hunt is for kids, kinda just time waste to get into a 30-70 min line to meet another Yoshi

JJK and Star Trek are good but just not up to the other offerings

HP light show is really great

The meet and greets are cool but can be hard to get a picture with depending on crowds

The event is solid and worth the money of these are around the crowds on a normal night
Have some notes but hope the event is successful and becomes a yearly thing

I mean what do you wanna know more of,
DND is the best looking, most interesting, and the story makes sense.

Star Trek is a horrible story, low ceiling sets and but the sets are from the show apparently.

The park plays music in the plaza which is cool but it’s only the same 5 songs or so. DJ in Lower lot, the back to the future is awesome, can win plushies and stuff from carnival games or listen to a doo wop group.

I think this events gonna do okay. It almost is better that it stays smaller. Meet and greets and all that will definitely take a while to do which kinda sucks for people who like doing that.

Just a heads up the sets change

But everything I went to see them they did different songs with the exception of the Pokemon themr

The band even said if the next sets would be new or not.

So just want people to know it’s worth it to check them out nearby if you have a few mins

Also the app needs time forge shows here and a sign in the area as well. Too much for most people to do and most seemed to not not know there was live music in that area. So please universal to push people here, I’d love this kinda live music at the summer and other events

My biggest concern right now is that most of the offerings appear to wind down around 10pm… but the event itself runs until 2am.

Forbidden Journey, Mario Kart, and Jurassic World close early for nightly maintenance. Hogwarts Always had its last show at 11:30. The Yoshis leave at midnight, and I assume other meet and greets are similar. I’m not sure when Back to the Future closed.

So, from my count, only the following things were running after midnight… Dungeons and Dragons, Star Trek, the Dreamworks thing, Secret Life of Pets, Despicable Me, Mummy, and Hippogriff.

At the very least, I think they need to have Back to the Future go later. If that isn’t possible due to noise concerns, I think more of the characters need to stay out.

Can anyone confirm what the deal was for Early Entry, which I (in hindsight) stupidly purchased? Hearing Dungeons and Dragons was the main thing open, with Star Trek opening at 6:30.

If there’s not much after 10 PM that really makes me wonder why they don’t just make this an event that lasts from the afternoon - 11 PM as a park closing time. Seems kind of a rip off if that’s the case.

Yeah, from the very beginning, I thought making an event that is much more family friendly go until 2am was odd. I figure it'll be a ghost town from midnight onwards.

At the same time, I think the reason they likely did that was to make it look like the event was long. If it were open from 7-mid, that would only be a 5 hour event, which likely would not sound appealing to the average park guest to pay an upcharge for. But a 7 hour event sounds more justifiable.

Star Trek, Dungeons & Dragons, and Jujutsu Kaisen were all open at 5:30 last night. My family was too late to buy Early Entry, but when we got in at 7 pm and went straight to the tram to go to Back to the Future, there was already a sizable crowd there. Not sure if the early crowd there was just for media.

I actually have a problem with my Early Entry now. I had bought my normal tickets first and then checked to get early entry for tomorrow, 4/27 and saw they were sold out. I rechecked yesterday morning and it was no longer sold out and showed that I could buy early entry tickets for tomorrow, so I did. I jotted down 5 tickets since I have 5 people coming but when I got my tickets, I only got 2 and I only got charged for 2. Now I have a problem where I wasted $40 on 2 tickets which I can't use because I don't want half of my family waiting outside the gates and I can't get the three other ones.

The date is now also completely blacked out on the calendar, not even showing a 'sold out' making me think that they're probably not going to put anymore tickets out at all so I don't even know what to do.

I called Uni's customer service in regards to tickets and they simply told me that they can't do refunds or park credit or anything so that's a major damn bummer.

Does anyone here possibly want 2 early entry tickets for tomorrow that they'd be able to actually use? Or does anyone here have 3 extras lying around? I'm really in a rough rough spot right now

Last tram leaves for Courthouse Sq at 1:00am. You can stay till 2:00am. The last two “lightning strikes” each evening will not have pyro due to ordinances.

I wonder if next year we see them reduce the amount of attractions to keep it contained to Super Nintendo World, Mummy, Hollywood Drift, Jurassic, Hogsmeade and Simpsons.

Don’t think there’s sense in operating DMMM and Pets, unless you want to have DMMM used as a overlay venue for XR experiences.

A XR Overlay, a show in WaterWorld, and one more Walkthrough feels like the things that would help pad this event out nicely.
