Does anyone know if they're still closing houses before the actual closing time?

I had kind of written this place off after the initial wave of influencer reviews, but I caught up on this thread and now I'm hyped to check it out next month!

And as someone who's planning multiple nights of Vegas activities, this seems like a pretty good value, honestly. It's way less than I'm going to shell out for Absinthe, and more bang for your buck than something shorter like the John Wick Experience (is this good? I think I'm going, but not 100% sure).

Sure it's a little more expensive than Omega Mart, but that seems fair given how many actors Universal's employing. I liked Omega Mart fine, but I would've paid more to have some characters roaming around like I experienced on my trip to Convergence Station (though I've heard they've scaled that back since I visited Denver).

If you’re into roaming performers as part of the experience, I recommend checking out Odyssey Manor, which is also located in Area 15. It’s a sandbox immersive created and directed by a Sleep No More alum.

Oh cool! Thanks for the rec! I just watched some videos and it looked awesome. My wife and I did the Magician's Study a couple years back, and really enjoyed getting some up-close entertainment, and we've been looking for similarly intimate experience since, so this seems right up our alley.

I have to admit my eyes kind of glazed over looking at the other options at Area 15. Last time when I went for Omega Mart, it felt a little like Meow Wolf was Dollywood and everything else was all the other tourist traps in Pigeon Forge, but maybe that's too harsh.

Went on Friday and had a blast! Unfortunately they are closing houses early still, so don't wait until the end of the night and think you can do something last minute. Either way, we were easily able to do everything at a very chill pace because no one was there. Every single house was a walk on. The pics below were taken around 7 PM. I get it's not spooky season, but I definitely expected more of a crowd than this.

The scareactors, especially Jack, are all excellent and really putting everything they can into it. Also pictured is a brand new food menu at Jack's Alley. We were told that just started Friday too. They brought over the giant cheesestick and managed to elevate it by adding flaming hot cheetos breading. Very good stuff.

This place is rad as hell and I cannot recommend it enough. Even with attendance being light, Universal seems to still fully staff the place. Didn't notice any missing scares or feel like we got the budget experience at all.

We did the Wick experience in December with a Groupon that came with a coin. It’s fun but not like a must do unless you’re a big fan. Was cool to drink at the bar and all that though.

Yeah we also did this over the weekend and pretty much felt the same way. It's cool, but I wouldn't tell anyone they got to do it. They don't advertise it, but the bar is free to go into. We had three of the drinks and really liked them all.

How "early" is closing houses early? Are we talking 15 min before closing, 30, or 45 or more? I suppose it probably depends on the house since they all have different operating schedules, but a rough estimate would be welcome

They closed Exorcist right after we started going through it, so about ten minutes early on that. Which was a bummer because I wanted to do it one more time.

We were going to hit Texas Chain Saw and Monsters once more, which were open for another 20 minutes. I was finishing up a pizza skull and a staff member walked up, asked which houses we wanted to do and I said “both?” Then was told we wouldn’t have time and to pick one. I couldn’t believe that. So I told them Monsters, they immediately closed Texas after that haha… Once we hit Monsters, they immediately closed that as well. I’m guessing we were the only guests there still?

Premier House also closed a hour or more before they told us it would and the bars also closed about 20 minutes before we were told.
