That would be my dream scenario, but it feels a bit unlikely since the framing is very much Saskia/Bride as the heroines versus Dracula's Daughter and the other villains, so I'd be surprised if Saskia/Bride ever lose. Seems more likely to be a Bride Lives type scenario than a Legends Collide scenario, though (especially as a Dracula fan) I'd love to be proven wrong.Wonder if this house will have rotating winners at the end.
I mean they did it with Dueling Dragons last year and Merlin was the clear hero with the warlocks as the clear villains. That would be my dream scenario, but it feels a bit unlikely since the framing is very much Saskia/Bride as the heroines versus Dracula's Daughter and the other villains, so I'd be surprised if Saskia/Bride ever lose. Likewise, Wolfman was very much the protagonist of Legends Collide, but it still had rotating winners.I mean they did it with Dueling Dragons last year and Merlin was the clear hero with the warlocks as the clear villains.
True, though the theming of that (and of Dueling Dragons) was very much, monster versus monster, warlock versus warlock, etc., and that seems more conducive to a rotating winner ending. The narrative of Eternal Bloodlines feels very much about the teaming up of Saskia and Bride to achieve an unlikely victory. Again, I'd love to be proven wrong because the rotating winner / split path design is so cool, and I'd personally love to experience an outcome where the evil team wins.Likewise, Wolfman was very much the protagonist of Legends Collide, but it still had rotating winners.
besides the haunted house is kind of connected to the new ride or at least in the similar vein, trying to hype up the upcoming ride. so they might not want a different winnerTrue, though the theming of that (and of Dueling Dragons) was very much, monster versus monster, warlock versus warlock, etc., and that seems more conducive to a rotating winner ending. Not sure if that's the case. From what we know, none of the characters in this house will appear in Monsters Unchained, and it seems that the HHN Monsters universe and Dark Universe have their own separate continuity.besides the haunted house is kind of connected to the new ride or at least in the similar vein, trying to hype up the upcoming ride. so they might not want a different winner
I personally like the backstory, but it would be nice to have a pre-event and post-event interview with the A&D team to talk about their favorite things each year.I'd really prefer if they went more with interviews with A&D instead of the 25-minute *backstory*.

I love these podcast stories, they really get me way more hyped then A&D talking up the house.I'd really prefer if they went more with interviews with A&D instead of the 25-minute *backstory*.
A prequel explaining the story leading up to the house, you're good to listen. So was the podcast episode a story like sweets with no spoilers?
Good. Thanks! I know the AQP one had lots of spoilers so I didn’t listen to that one and wanted to make sure this one wasn’t like that.A prequel explaining the story leading up to the house, you're good to listen.

2022 and 2023 did both story episodes AND A&D talking about the houses. Maybe we will get the same this year?I personally like the backstory, but it would be nice to have a pre-event and post-event interview with the A&D team to talk about their favorite things each year.
To many monster isn’t always a good thing. Last year’s house was good, but I think it would be even better if it was just Phantom and Hunchback. I feel like the was what A&D wanted, but marketing wanted to advertise more monsters.2022 and 2023 did both story episodes AND A&D talking about the houses. Maybe we will get the same this year?
Also, unrelated to that conversation, this backstory just feels overly complicated. It feels like they had two or three good ideas (Saskia, Daughter of Dracula, and The Bride), and then just decided to add more monsters. I swear, we would have been good with the initial three and focusing on a story of loss/mourning.
To be fair, I also thought last year's Monsters house was needlessly overstuffed as the characters could have easily supported two or more strong story based houses.
For instance, one year we get The Phantom and The Hunchback fighting over a girl and another year we see The Invisible Man and Dr. Jekyll being kidnapped by the military who want to study their experiments to make super soldiers.
the phantom area at the beginning with the red curtains was kinda boring. the last house was messy, but the rooms after the phantom were amazingTo many monster isn’t always a good thing. I’m starting to worry that is going to happen here. Guess we will find out on Aug. 30.
I liked that area. I can see how it seemed boring, but it was like a real backstage theater. I only didn't like the Invisible man section, it felt out of place.the phantom area at the beginning with the red curtains was kinda boring. the last house was messy, but the rooms after the phantom were amazing
