I know this is possibly the most worst idea for a family park but what about Game of Thrones to replace the Lost Continent? It literally has a huge huge huge following and is a book series also and then continue it in a possible third gate.

Love Game of Thrones, but Lord of the Rings is far more family friendly, still has a bigger worldwide following, and arguably is *prettier* (which all translate far better to the parks).

Honestly would love Westeros, but don't really see like....what rides could be. What are we going to do, ride one of Khaleesi's dragons, an "Ascend the Wall" drop tower? There's not really much you can do with the IP in terms of a ride or show...although merch would sell ridiculously.

A "fouth" gate is so far off it's ludicrous to discuss it.

Universal is focusing on finishing the two parks it has, the resorts, and a water park for the next 10 or so years if I had to wager.

In that case, who wants to make a hilarious park? Everybody post a land with 2 rides and a show and together we can create universals 4th gate. I'll start.

You walk into universals Main Street area named "Box office bomb alley" it's a alley with tons of graffiti and it looks completely abandoned aside from a few gangsters running around. The first ride there will be the "47ronin space battle" where you help a animatronic Keanu Reeves fight off the bad guys in a giant star tours like E ticket based off the biggest bomb in history. Next will be the "RIPD training facility" basically MIB reskinned with terrible CGI and a girl with Jeff bridges voice. Finally a Pluto Nash stunt show!!! The crown jewel of the entire resort. Who's with me on this?

As an person of African american descent, I knew it was a joke. People are just really touchy. But if they had a Kazaam based ride, Shaq could walk around the park.

Sorry I just was really sensitive because yea I am black and I just thought it would be kinda offensive seeing someone dressed up as Shaq walking around the park entertaining people, people would be laughing at him not laughing with him so that's why I was saying it could be racist. Like what if a white person dressed up as Shaquille O'neal and walked around universal orlando? Would seem kinda offensive right? If someone walked around dressed up as an Anne Frank character that would be very disrespectful towards people of Jewish decent get my point now? Now back to the original topic what is more likely to have a second comeback in a third universal park? jaws or back to the future?

Shaq isn't dead. Anne frank was killed because she was Jewish. There is a monumental difference there. If they had someone dress up as MLK, then your complaint would be fair. Shaq is a celebrity and tends to be a comedian. If they had someone dress up as him it really would not be a big deal(not that it would ever happen). They have someone dress up as Lucy and Marilyn Monroe. You don't see redheads and blonde getting offended do you? It's pretty sad that someone suggests have a black person as a walk around character and are accused of being racist, but at the same time if they had no black presence in the park, it would be called racist.

well if it was to be a humorous park, South Park, with a alley called Avenue Q. The show would be Beevis and Butthead based and the one ride would be Cartman's journey...a journey with Eric Cartman to save the world and Avenue Q would be a train ride through the Avenue.

SO..how do you all think the resort will expand..towards I Drive or buy up land near Major BLVD and expand that way?

If just having a black celebrity as a walkaround character offends black people, America might as well give up on racial equality not to offend, but Marilyn and Lucy do walk around USF - no one's offended. Why should Shaq be offensive? Although since he's not an entertainment icon, it wouldn't fit the theme.

Samuel L. Jackson or Laurence Fishburne should walk around the park though! :whoo:

On topic though, I'm expecting Universal Orlando to almost double in size over the next 10-15 years :happy:
