Yep, I visited a while back when they still had a couple monorail trains in there.

Wow, I never knew they stored stuff that big in there... I figured it was napkins and holiday decorations.

Why would they want to store monorail cars???

I think the initial plan was that those two were still in good enough shape that they could potentially be sold like the two that were sold to Las Vegas. The cars were full of all the remaining extra parts too. The warehouse was pretty amazing I could have spent a few days just taking everything in. There were ride vehicles, movie props, AA's including a whole row of Figments, Models of things that did and didn't get built and yes there were also plenty of napkins and various other ordinary supplies.

I can only imagine seeing Universal's equivalent of this. All those HHN props that must be there! One day maybe if I'm lucky...

It is. It's in a large wooden crate on one of the shelves in back. ;)

That's his second cousin removed, Disco Yeti. The flashier side of the family.

Actually, the crate is in the lobby of a warehouse off of CR535 as a decor item. Still being guarded by "top men," but now hiding in plain sight.

I knew ITEC was back there, and I've heard of Theme Park Magic before, but I can't for the life of me remember what for...may have to drive the loop next time I'm over that way for a memory refresher of what's where.

Would it be impatient if me to say I want Universal to hurry up and build the new park?

Could you knock on UC's door and say, "What'cha doin in there? Can you take me for a tour?". Just remember to smile!

You joke, but I've surprisingly gotten many interesting tours in just that exact way.

Actually, they replaced the square with an open plan multi-use space. You know, one of those concepts where people dont have offices and the meeting rooms aren't sectioned off from the break spaces. Because nothing says professional work environment like burnt popcorn and sitting on rejected IKEA designs.

This could relate to anything, but three new job hirings have been occurring for Universal Orlando in the following:

While it could mean anything, these three Job Descriptions could mean that they are getting things rapidly going for future land/Theme Parks of Universal Orlando Resort (and..there isn't exactly a thread for something that should be talked about more in-depth).

Edit: There has also been Job listings for Analyst Web - Digital Analytics, Sr. Recruiter Professional Talent Acquisition, Manager Integrated Marketing Communications - Consumer Digital Mktg, Programmer Analyst Peoplesoft, Sr. Technical Specialist Architect and a few others for Universal Orlando...
