Universal Orlando Resort Expansion (Part 1)

This could relate to anything, but three new job hirings have been occurring for Universal Orlando in the following:







While it could mean anything, these three Job Descriptions could mean that they are getting things rapidly going for future land/Theme Parks of Universal Orlando Resort (and..there isn't exactly a thread for something that should be talked about more in-depth).

Edit: There has also been Job listings for Analyst Web - Digital Analytics, Sr. Recruiter Professional Talent Acquisition, Manager Integrated Marketing Communications - Consumer Digital Mktg, Programmer Analyst Peoplesoft, Sr. Technical Specialist Architect and a few others for Universal Orlando...

Reminds me of a post by Teebin last year discussing that Universal Creative was advertising for and hiring a ton of Creative people.

There are instances where I don't post stuff like this..but the fact that there we're so many job hirings to Universal Orlando for stuff like Attraction/Show Set Design, I had to bring it up as it can very well relate to SiteB in a way.

Perhaps @Teebin can elaborate if these mean anything, but I'll stick to my guns that it's relating to SiteB for now.

Several community members (including some here) have said in the past that the perfect name to call these 475 acres in a way; "Site-B" as it's kindof a homage in a way..

Anyone know what happened to the Star Trek deal? Last I remember it allowed for anything from a small attraction to an entire land. A theme park in Germany is building a Star Trek roller coaster, so deals are going. Is the deal still there, did one side change their mind or did it just fall through?

Ive been mulling this question for a while. With Fallon, FF, Nintendo and Slop all in the pipeline, how many new rides do we think Site A gets before the Site B is up and running? Will those 4 be the focus before construction switches over? Or will we continue to see projects as the new resort comes into existence?

There are rumors of something happening with Dragon Challenge and an Avengers E Ticket for MSHI.

Good question. I think Universal realizes that if improvements stop on the first two parks that people might wait until the third is open. For that reason I think the new projects will continue up to and past the third park opening.

This is true. I wish I knew more about construction. I feel like I always hear rumblings of construction crews/vendors being worked thin. Opening an entire park must take so much.

Despite my previous statements, I wouldn't want to be working for Universal Creative right now. It's become a stress hole on many levels.

I imagine there are so many moving parts to getting just one ride open..I can only imagine planning a 3rd Park on top of all the other projects they have going on..Perhaps they will open a circus next so UC can show us how well they juggle

Not really. Dory made more the first weekend than Slop. Slop is doing VERY well, but Dory is doing better overall.

We are talking about this in the Slop thread under California.
