I'm curious about the inner workings of this effect. Do you think it's released via compressed air, a manual pump, something else?
I considered that too, but then I thought that the characters jump around quite a bit so it would have to have a locking feature or it's only done once at the beginning of a set.I'm wondering if the jump has something to do with it, like a foot pump that the actor can activate with a valve inside the costume.
