Oh... so they probably won't be painting the barge ride if the refurb is less than two weeks.

They were prepping for paint within the channel yesterday so I'm not sure.

Keep in mind. 2 weeks is a very long time. You can do a lot in 2 weeks. Especially when third shift gets to work as well.

Have we determined what they are building between IOA and NBA city?
I talked to the guy working at the basketball court and he said he thinks its for ticket kiosks.

No kidding, ticket kiosks? With online ticketing becoming more prevalent, I am surprised that they would expand into this area instead of re-purposing the current ticket counters. As an aside, with the extreme growth in online ticketing, Six Flags Great America is tearing down ALL of the dozen or so original Marriott ticket counters in front of the gate (setup very much like IOA), opening up the plaza for more efficient security, and placing a drastically scaled down ticket counter far off to the side.

Makes sense for more kiosks at IOA, since the Studios already had a bunch more installed this last fall, right?

I think it's one of the vehicles from the Caro-Seuss-El.

And as a side note to coaster geeks... if you walk further down that alley past the Gotham bathrooms and walk up to the double doors on the mummy soundstage building, you can actually hear the coaster wizzing by so close that it blows air out through the crack between the doors. You will hear the screams too.
