BTW, the mural part on that wall is really well done, but I'll go with a real textured facade any day. So if it's new facade there, awesome! Stepping it up yet again, Universal!

Strange contraption on Lombard's roof:

I believe I posted a shot of that many months ago. I'll check my pics when I get home.

I shot the following picture on March 31st of this year. It was probably posted the following day.

I believe the "strange contraption" is a bank of spot lights.

intersting they are improving facades and whatnot after NBC basically gave up on using most of the sets for anything... This sounds like comcast might be looking at using orlando for more commercials and select scenes...

and the people I spoke with said it would be December... with the all day cups being their project, no idea if the normal mugs wil be modded to get a sticker each time or what... maybe they will charge $7 for all day refills? I wasn't told a price point just that it was coming...

There was that newsletter saying that they are getting more studio business, but apart from that, it also improves the park's overall appearance, which is great! And they might be also investing in the fact that people are very attracted by the immersive environments and elaborate theming seen in new attractions like Potter, so that might also encourage them to polish the resort all around.

I despise the idea of chipped cups, but I'm not a big soda drinker, so I'll stay out of that one...

Wow that was quick. Looks like it got a new paint job and flooring. Also, the merchandise stands look a bit more different than the last time I was there.

Glad to see the Suess Trolley sign back with movement as well. THe CITH sign was fully active the other day as well after being out for awhile.

Green Eggs and Ham was open Thanksgiving day. We actually ate there. Ordered chicken fingers and it wasn't to bad. Large portions actually. :thumbs:

We've finally braved the Green Eggs & Ham Sandwich at Islands of Adventure! And it was actually pretty great!

I do believe that the awkward color of the ham is the downfall of this place...could be wrong, but I don't really crave something that looks like a rotting brain
