So is it brand new tech on the Coke screen in Citywalk? The old one was far too noisy and the screen grainy for its own good.

I'm pretty sure it is Teebs, the old one was boarded over for the longest time. But then again I'm not 100% sure it's new tech, just assuming so.

I thought the old screen was a clear shell with a arm of LEDs spinning around really fast inside? This one looks just like a regular LED screen, only curved.

We decided to try the Unlimited Coke Freestyle refillable cup for $12. So far we've enjoyed four drinks; decent deal.

It's a whole lot better looking that the Red Bottles and the old blue Meal Deal ones.

The look is the look. Its a souvenir cup that is more about the drink than wanting the cup. They probably had to have coke on there with the freestyle promoting on there too. At worst it is bland without any Universal characters or uniqueness. But this is a product more about frees style.

What I don't like about it, is it seems to have a functionality error. The straw is just there snapped on the side. Ha. I am not a germaphobe but the main difference that caught my eye was the straws that tuck back into the cup are always ingenious. No spilling or anything getting in.

it makes more sense to guests to use it. unlimited for a few dollars more. it doesn't make sense for the people that go often and are able to save their red cups however.

I find it funny that Universal gives annual pass discounts on the refill price for their others mugs. I'm sure it's one of those "secrets" that people just need to know or try. But I do understand that some AP holders could live out of state, then when they come to Uni they could buy a mug and get refills that day at a discount.

I have a feeling they'll leave both active. They know what people are doing with the red cups and even at the cost of a refill they're making money off them.

While there is a discount for the red cup and refills there is 0 discount currently for the freestyle cup... Still say they should offer a deal for recycling your old cup for a new one. Also noticed they added Richters to the all day meal deal...

i was there sunday and i was talking to a manager at one of the freestyle fill locations and he was saying that they are indeed going to have a refillable price for the new cups but they are working out some bugs with the chips that are in the cups before they can offer it

General updates from Orlando Theme Park News........

First off, they report that Poseidon's Fury has reopened from refurbishment and that the most notable change is an increased quality of the projections:

Poseidon's Fury, on the other hand, recently closed for a short refurbishment, and it received some TLC.

Among the new additions are new projectors and possibly new LED lights in the main show room.

The best addition is - in our opinion - the change of projectors. The images on the water screens are now much clearer, and the the projections are not blurry like before (Sorry, photos are not allowed in the attraction).

Looks amazing. Uni's been doing a great job freshening up the park lately between the Suess and Toon Lagoon stuff.
