Not sure if it has been talked about already, but it looks like Uni might be trying some new turnstiles at the front of the park. This was at IOA on the very far right. Much sleeker looking system them the one they have currently.

So, they don't scan passes any longer? And where are the thumb/finger thingys?

Sorry, this is a pretty awful picture, but the finger scanner is boxed and the ticket scanner is circled. Nothing has really changed other than how the system looks.

Well, I only know the hold your card (or the employee grabs it from you and holds your card) underneath the scanner... this appears that you push it into the machine... do you pull it out or does it grab it and spit it out elsewhere?

You have to flip over your ticket for it to be scanned (so the barcode is facing downwards towards the ground). There's no mechanism that takes the ticket.

Not sure how old it is but the added a digital screen to the front of the Hollywood DriveIn. It's not the easiest thing to capture of film but the screen quality is pretty good.

Are they going to open All gates and just have a Castmember for every two or so
and Let most guests scan themselves in ?

Most of the wifi infrastructure is built into any new buildings, so you won't see it. When it's retrofitted, it's usually via wifi access points that look like this one found close to the Hulk's station. The resort is becoming covered in them to advance towards the goal of resort-wide (quality) wifi. Top of the stairs at Mummy's express line and on a ceiling tile of the new Cold Stone both come to mind as other wifi APs, but more and more should be coming online.

Park wide WiFi, for WDW & UOR, is an interesting technical challenge. Maintaining a connection between wifi points is pretty simple (even for 45,000), but it's the constant connecting and dropping when it comes to being on dark rides and coasters that'll be interesting to observe.
