Even if Universal wanted to do it, it’s just too hard to get guests to put their phones down these days.

How many rides do they force you to put them in a locker? Hulk, HRRR, Hagrid, Velocicoaster?

Not Hagrid. You don’t go through a metal detector so as long as you are willing to risk it (I have plenty of times), you can take it on.

I used it today, if you have it set up it is quicker than using ApplePay, especially if you are using FaceID with a mask on.

Has anyone used this lately? If so how is it?

Not opposed to using this over Apple Pay/Google Pay/etc.. but not sure what the big difference is between them. Also is it secure in any way? Does it make you ID yourself or anything before you use it?
