Well, if it makes you feel better, there'll be an additional item in there aside from the HTO. But that aside it's mostly just a weenie in the vein of Sleeping Beauty Castle at DL.

That does make me feel better, yes. I still wish that it was a new version of the Universal Experience

I guess what I was worried about was BIG flashy out of place letters simply promoting the Hollywood Ticket Outlet. Would make for a cringe worthy weenie.

However, if they make a beautiful ornate or neon marquee that says "The Universal Theater"

And then UNDERNEATH somewhere say "FEATURING The Hollywood Ticket Outlet. Starring The Tonight Show, CityPass, and Annual Passes." Or something like that. Know what I'm getting at?

I wonder what they'll call it. Universal Theatre? Carl Laemmle Theatre? Universal Plaza Theatre?

It's the Universal Plaza Tower as of right now.

There will be a sign, but it will be tasteful. Don't worry, it's all going to look fantastic.

I sure hope so. DM has really fast construction going on. It's insane.

I'd probably say they'll wind up finishing the entire thing just prior to HHN.

But some of it will be ready to go by Labor Day weekend.

Who's excited about the new tower? I am....I REALLY REALLY REALLY am. It looks fantastic so far. I'm curious how the top will look! I'm also curious if Universal will announce anything regarding it at least on Facebook, or will they just open it randomly without any fanfare?

Ha ha, notice how the architecture of the tower matches the construction wall that is out of place with the rest of the walls?

The clue as to what was coming has been there all along.

I really hope they add some texture to the walk ways surounding the tower. The red cement looks very plain next to the tower.

Most likely, since I doubt they'd ever advertise Plaza on television or promote it beyond their social network channels.

I know we'll be going crazy once it opens, but we're a small group. Haha.

If they do happen to release info regarding an official opening date, I'd love for us to do another member meet up. Like, an unofficial one, since we'll be the only ones geeking out over it

The problem with the opening is that it'll coincide with HHN... so I doubt they'll do much of anything aside from advertise on park maps.
