Now that single day tickets are out and some of my travel plans have changed, it looks like I'll be staying at Stella Nova for my annual HHN trip this September! As much as I want to stay at Helios, I do need to save up some money here and there and a cheaper hotel helps out quite a bit. And thankfully with the way Universal's hotels are, I'm perfectly fine doing that!

Plus, I got no issue walking to the park, and it seems like it's not bad at all from Stella Nova.

It's not! It's a straight shot from the hotel to the park. Like the parking lot walkway though there is virtually no shade but the walk takes less than 10 minutes from the hotel to the front gate.

I'm in the same boat! We're actually doing a split stay. Stella Nova for our EU days and Cabana for the others!

That's the vibe I'm getting looking at the maps, and I'm a fast walker who's walked from Sapphire to Citywalk no problem, so this walk to EU is very doable.

Nice! Since I'm staying for three days and all three will be at EU save for HHN at night, I'm staying at Stella Nova the whole trip.

Yeah the walk definitely doesn't look bad - I'm curious how far it is to the main gate once you cross the street from Stella Nova.

And we've walked from Cabana Bay to Citywalk multiple times, so it should be a cake walk lol

Maybe 3-4 minutes depending on your pace. It feels like it goes faster because once you're next to the shuttle stops you start to hear the music and the excitement builds.

My guess would be less than 200 yards from Stella Nova's front door to the entrance of Epic.

200 yards doesn't get you out of the parking lot. Door to turnstile you're probably looking at about three quarters of a mile, which normal walking pace is probably 12-15 minutes but 10 would be easily doable if you're brisk.

Added Stella Nova to our annual split stay (Premier and value, this year HRR and CBBR) just for the walk to Epic. Looks like a fine walk but no where near as nice as the Garden Path to City Walk.

I'm hoping this will be something that happens in time. It wouldn't hurt to start off with a few more trees at least.

So Terra Luna Grand Opens today. I am interested in seeing some overview videos and reviews.

Same as Stella Nova, but the views towards the north is weird with the electrical substation & power lines unfortunately.

It'll do fine, better than Endless.

I think that there are some minor differences that may make for a significantly different experience from Stella Nova. I think that Terra is aimed more towards an adult demographic.

Stella Nova has a Splash Pad, Terra Luna does not.

Stella Nova has a nice hot tub off to the side near the bar. Terra Nova has a giant party sized hot tub between the bar and main pool.

The lobby areas are similar but Stella's is turned up a bit, while Terra's seem more...low key. More earth tones. The same but different.

That started the day names were announced! I still keep saying Stella Luna, but I also worked in a bookstore for 10+ years…
