It sure doesn't have the look of a Value Resort. Universal has done it again, namely, open a beautiful resort at a value price point. Disney's values have a Motel 6 look and a moderate hotel price. Universal's Value priced hotels are a few notches above their counterparts at WDW. Over the long run this is going to have a very positive effect on Universal's attendance. It's hard to believe that back in 2012 Universal only had apx. 2100 total hotel rooms, all of which were Deluxe resorts.
