It’s possibly the worst e-ticket in the park

They aren't mutually exclusive. It's hard to argue that Mario Kart isn't one of, if not the biggest draw to the park at open. Quality or no, it's the main Mario ride regardless.

It's kind of a silly, in-the-weeds thing to argue about generally, but if we're already in the brush then IMO Mario Kart and Battle are co-headliners for the park. DK, Monsters, Dragons are all gonna be really solid, but it's those two that I think will be selling most of the tickets.

I've ridden Mario Kart enough times in Hollywood to know... I will not be wasting my time with that ride in Epic Universe.

There’s still so much that they have not announced yet. We are still waiting on sales of single day tickets, express pass, and VIP tours. Also, like you said, we’re still waiting on Park hours and the firework show. Oh yeah, food reservations as well. So still A TON more news coming soon.

And we know nothing about how they're handling the soft opens/passholder previews. Only that they're going to happen.

I'm partially messing around, but Universal really doesn't push park openings past 9PM except for holidays.

IOA is a gorgeous park at night with a tremendous lighting package (plus nighttime show at Hogwarts with new projectors) and they love to close the park at 7PM.

I really hope Universal proves me wrong and sees Epic as their MK with more consistent 9 and 10PM closings.

Current TM previews are only scheduled until 4:00, but I assume that’s so the only have one shift of TMs to schedule, as well as to allow more time for work to get done.

Like almost every weekend in April has one or two 6PM closings, ridiculous!

Noise ordinances are a thing, but 7PM is way too early when most City of Orlando noise ordinances don't apply until 10PM.

It's interesting to me that some of you here complain endlessly about the hours during off-season but during the summer when the parks are actually busy and Universal parks are open later than every other park in Orlando besides MK consistently, as was the case this previous summer, nobody says anything. With the way some of you talk about Universal park hours i think someone would think it would be literally impossible to see the parks at night, which is not the case at all.

It's interesting to me that some of you here complain endlessly about the hours during off-season but during the summer when the parks are actually busy and Universal parks are open later than every other park in Orlando besides MK consistently, as was the case this previous summer, nobody says anything....

2ish months of closing late in the summer (Mid-June through Late Aug), by Universal standards, is not something Universal should be ok with.

They are a year round destination. If you want hotels filled year round, your parks have to be open late to support them.

If they want Mardi Gras to be even more successful, they should consider keeping USF open later in weekdays to encourage APs to visit after work, just like the influx of APs later in the evening at Epcot during its festivals.

I enjoy the ride more than most people here seem to, but I also like WEB Slingers for the arm workout.

I think WEB Slingers is fun and Mario Kart is mid because the gameplay is (for me) very unsatisfying.
