Has to be vehicle-specific then no? Adjustments they need to make to the vehicles themselves? Universal, and its 3rd party vendors, have decades of programming rides with multiple vehicles.

Rumor is it is a Ride Control System issue. (RV movement). So sensors could be it, but I suspect it is more complicated than that.

I hope we are not looking at a Test Track type issue that took almost 2 years to resolve.

I don’t think these vehicles are capable of flying through a wall but I could be wrong.

Been seeing this rumor and heard something sort of related... Something like Simtec wasn't getting ride system to work, so may have been replaced, and it's so late in the game to be reprogramming by a new company, so they're behind...

If those rumors are true, I'd sue too.

And it happens A LOT in the history of Universal Orlando theme parks, and we may not hear of it because they settle before a complaint is actually brought forward to avoid it going public.

A new ride system?? Wowow. If that’s true, (1) that’s an incredible Toy Story 2-esque hail mary and (2) there’s no way this ride is ready at opening lmao

If this is accurate about them having to scrap the whole ride system for something else, I wonder how drastically different it will be from the initial concept art. Hopefully not too much of a downgrade. Ministry was shaping up to be Universal's ROTR killer...

Look, take it with a healthy serving of salt, but I have heard a number of things from some fairly reputable bus-drivers that definitely have me curious.

The main gist of what I've heard being that Universal has bought out the contract with Warner Bros/JK that had the park legally bound to only open if Battle at the Ministry was in operation. The idea being that Universal can now legally launch Epic without Battle being open to the public, giving them a few extra months to work out kinks. Think SW:GE and Rise.

It's not something I'm really all too thrilled about, but to me it at least seems plausible. Maybe someone here has heard similar, or completely opposite.

Like the operating system. The programming. Not the actual ride’s vehicles and track and such.

I think opening the park without the ride would be a PR disaster. They’ve used the ride as a huge part of the marketing and advertising on social media. If it’s not ready, it’s not ready. But I feel confident they’re gonna do absolute everything they can to have it open in some capacity.

Universal needs to stick the landing for Epic's opening. Ministry needs to open, come hell or high water even if it has a 8 hour wait all day. Wasn't it the same thing with Gringotts?

Yup. Absolutely awful. At the gate of USF before 6am and it still took 2.5 hours to ride.
