If RMC ever build their two across concept, it would be perfect.

There's something beautiful about the flat track. I think it would be mesmerising looking ahead when riding.

Eh. At that point it's no different than a normal coaster. The whole point for my want of it in HTTYD is the way you're seated on the single seater models.

I gotcha.

Thinking about it, if Disney can make Space Mountain work in the Magic Kingdom and that's a single seater train, why not?

That track is my dream for a space mountain redo but that's for a different thread.

Can't imagine we don't get seats similar to the bike on Hagrid's or something like Flight of Passage to give us the feeling we're on a dragon. I'll be disappointed if they don't at least try something like that with this concept.

I feel like the FoP seats were pretty much reviled because of issues with the calf restraints.

Never been on so I wasn’t aware of this, regardless, I think you see my point. I’m sure there are much better coaster examples that others would know of that I’m just now aware of.

I mean, there was complaints from people who couldn't fit, but I think "reviled" is a bit of revisionism. If it was that big of an issue, TRON would not be being built, which has virtually the same calf/back restraint system.

Well I've been out of this thread for awhile.

Gotta agree though, the feeling of riding on a dragon would be perfect.

Honestly, I was thinking one of those Intamin Giga Splashes would make more sense as a small addition for dragons. Theme it to a dragon flying over water or a Viking Ship, maybe have two tracks next to each other for greater capacity. It could be the park's thrill water ride if Black Lagoon never arrives or if the Mack Splash Battle is unappealing...

It definitely helps that "Hiccup is an inventor" acts as a perfect excuse for any kind of flat ride Universal might want to add to the land.

Im just dying to see what Berk looks like. I still think it may be the most "beautiful" land they do, this or Monsters.

Paris I have no doubt will be beautiful, if that is what they even do, and SNW is just pure eye candy and Nintendo bliss so I guess its hard to beat that but in terms of natural beauty, Berk could beat Pandora I feel.

Furloughs and layoffs for a project that’s not moving forward currently. I would never say it’s cancelled.

And it begins. Unless it’s basically already built theme park expansion era has ended, and will likely not resume for several years. *cries tears of theme park sadness*

Meh, we’ll get Nintendo in USF by 2025 If EU is for real cancelled

Bet they wish they just did that in the first place. I also bet Nintendo itself is probably less than amused.

Please, please just be a pause. In the meantime, who is ready to start the "Save Epic Universe" bake sale?

I’ve gotten “Postponed Indefinitely” from three other sources now. Which sounds more in line with their “pause” comments than it does with cancelled.

“Postponed indefinitely,” is a polite cancellation.
