The strategy makes sense, so don't get me wrong, but still, building a park and it is just this exclusive something that can only be enjoyed by a select few ... granted Seaworld has this with Discovery Cove, but that is a different something. Like I said, I understand it though, people rush to what is new and I think VB will be very successful, so it is prudent, perhaps. What I wonder though, if the direction of VB is one of exclusiveness, then why close W&W? Also, if touting VB as this exclusive something and having higher prices for it, and then you discover it really is just a water park, could this cause bad press? Probably not, but I think there might be a lot of people who will also not be willing to be a premium price for VB, then, this probably is what Universal wants, as it keeps capacity under control. I am very interested to see how this will all work out.
