It's funny when people say that VB slides are unthemed because you can see supports even though Miss Adventure has open supports as well as the last new addition to Typhoon Lagoon- Crush Gusher

Really guys, are you going to let some people wearing rose-colored glasses derail this thread and turn it into something that it's not?

No sane person actually thinks Miss Adventure Falls is better than Volcano Bay. Those that do say it probably have no intention of giving VB a chance anyway. Don't take the bait.

i went to MAGIC to read what some people are saying
the first person i read was a Raven saying the new ride was ok but VB was gonna be incredible
after further reading the main debate was about whether the themeing beyond the Volcano would be better than Aquatica/TL and that the rides would be superior so i didnt think it was that bad really

I have booked the Hardrock the week VB opens so get early entry to VB too. Will be interesting how many people will use the early entry and how busy it will become for opening hours

It's probably the Tom guy there, he completely got the Fallon theater theming wrong too, so I wouldn't make much of it.

Everything in Volcano Bay is integrated into the overall theme. And everything is themed. People are so caught up in the construction photos, they missed what was being said over and over and over regarding the slides. And it isn't the slides themselves, its the extras involving everything that people are missing. Like the Oh No and Oh yah drop slides will be pretty fun in how to get to those slides not being basic stairs. The Tube slide have tikis hidden throughout the ride paths. Look beyond what you see.

I can't wait to see what is hidden around the park, in the slides, etc...That is where the Tapu Tapu bands will really enhance the experiences

I love that there'll be tons of kinetic energy surrounding and within the volcano, making it feel alive!! :pixie:
And wow, I was wrong about the moss on the volcano. It is BEAUTIFUL!

The bamboo looks like it's going to do a great job of hiding those pesky supports after all :look:

Some new aerials too:

New Volcano Bay Water Park Aerials

I found this particularly interesting for anybody wondering about the distance between the cabanas and highway.

In the 5th picture, on the left side, there seems to be actual water slide supports. Don't know what they're for

The MickeyXtreme ones. After further investigation though, it looks to just be more buildings

Ooh, if you look very closely on the yellow slide that had geysers coming from the middle of the bowl, (in the concept videos) you can see a small outline of where the hole used to be. Wonder what happened.

A couple things on the MickeyXtreme pics.

There is water in the pool for the big drop slide, so I'd say they are testing that one.

And the two slides that end with a drop into a pool(ohyeah, ohno?) seem to have their own mountains for the support structure rather than a bare metal structure.

The latest video showed the geysers so there's still a slight hope. Upon sayin that, the slide was also orange.

I always thought the Orange color was much more pleasing to the eye, disappointed they changed their mind on that.
