Feeling way more disappointed than I should be at effectively making IG an upcharge attraction. Hope they catch hell for this. But that's private equity ownership for ya.

It’s truly theme park malpractice. Even Cedar Point had free lockers for attractions that require them (Top Thrill 2, Siren’s Curse, and Steel Vengeance). I am for metal detectors being added in the name of safety, ideally with lockers in queue like VelociCoaster and Stardust (though I also understand BGT’s queues aren’t the best designed for this). I am, on the other hand, very much against it being used for profit. It screams private equity greed. If you’re going to do a metal detector locker system, the lockers should absolutely be free.

Interesting. Hopefully they are thinking about how to better approach this (I kinda doubt it though knowing Hill Path/United Parks ).
