I assume the plan is for the store to remain for about two years (minimum), to promote both movies and continue sales beyond.

Looking at the merchandise they seem to have partnered with most of the same higher end vendors that produce the Potter merchandise (Mina Lima, etc.) so it will be decent quality.

I’m s o excited that Wicked is coming to Universal! Interactive experiences and merchandise sound awesome. Character meet-and-greets would be a great idea, and maybe even stage shows? It would be nice if these attractions lasted longer , as suggested. It might be worth considering fan events to celebrate this new addition:)!

I mean, it never was anything grandiose.

Yes, and that's an understatement., and a 'nice' way to describe it. , that's what I was referring to. Worst looking entrance around. I did have a wink and laugh added to it. They always should have used Hollywood as an entrance. That's decent looking. Wicked doesn't make it any better looking, but at least it should be more interesting than Hello Kitty, that was a step backward from Lucy. Unfortunately, I doubt there's any budget money to change it in the near future with so many other things needed first.

If they don't add a Minion dressed as Elphaba, I'll be more disappointed since Gru already has the pink fairy costume covered

I would literally pay for a ticket to whatever movie had a short with Gru as Glinda and Vector as Elphaba singing Popular before the feature.

Or even just a :30 TV ad.
