I’ve heard the reason for the delay on opening is because while remodeling they came across some issues with the building (just like the soundstage next door).

I expect this to be a trend moving forward considering how old the majority of these buildings in the park are.

Based off the photos on Twitter, it looks like this will be on the short-term permanent side of things, rather than tribute store seasonal. It looks very well done

Edit: I really appreciate how this feels more like an exhibit than just a gift shop. It has a similar vibe to Lucy Tribute.

Looks a lot like the Lucy tribute -- I can make out the old main chamber layout, complete with the costume cavities. Big fan.

I was thinking the exact same when I saw the photos on Universal AP. Like a good old friend returning, with a little different look.
