Says he with the JP Ranger member title - love it  Would be perfectly happy to lose TL for Middle Earth (except BRB - I would miss that as it currently is) but I love Jurassic Park. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Well I am going to get destroyed for this but ehh tear it down, what the hell. What are we really going to miss a flume ride with some of the worst AA's in existence? I would be more upset about losing Camp Jurassic and the Watering Hole than the River Adventure. In reality though this won't happen and if anything the Island is due for a refresh that may or may not tie into JP4. Man I hope its a good movie. Is Chris Nolan busy now

River Adventure is easily my least favorite portion of the island. Sure it's fun, but I tend to enjoy Camp Jurassic and Discovery Center more.

Pro Tip: Ride JPRA at night. It's significantly better.

I dunno. Maybe I'm just a JP fanboy, but I LOVE River Adventure. Like a lot. When the doors open and the music kicks in, I get goosebumps.

Now, it definitely needs an update. I'm not going to fight you on that one. But I love that ride. And I'd say JP is tied with Seuss for the second best themed land in the park.

I hope the land is expanded as rumors say, though. Camp Jurassic is great, but the land needs more than RA and CJ.

I agree with this completely.

Obviously, JP is going nowhere. There are a lot of rumors out there that they will be adding something to that island. I don't think we have anything to worry about though. JP will be around for a long while, especially, as mentioned before, because of the relationship with Spielberg and JP4 coming soon.

Me too, it does need a decent expansion in the island.

I'd disagree. Dinosaurs are like kid crack. They need a nice, big family E-ticket in there.

And I would also disagree. They have a play area, a ride for kids, and the Discovery Center. JPA is not all that extreme IMO. Now of course it would depend on the ride, and how tame it is or if it is a dark ride...
Also (don't take this personally anybody) I just don't care about kids/familys or how it benifits UOR I want things that I can or want to do. Selfesh... yes.

You can ride a family dark ride. Universal isn't about "extreme" nor have they ever been, really. Yes, the Hulk and Dragons are there, but I wouldn't call either all that extreme. They need some more rides without height requirements to balance the parks out.

I have no problem as long as it is enjoyable, just not a kiddie ride.

That is why Seuss Landing is in IOA. JP could absolutely use another thrill.

You can't have all your attractions without height requirements in one area of the park.

I think it would be a good idea if they expand Camp Jurassic into the unused Trike Encounter. I don't think Universal should let areas like Trike Encounter and before SS44 rot for years. Now that SS44 is getting a redo, I think it's time to do something about that Trike area.
