Genuine trigger warning here:

"one of the main lines in the house is “I’m gonna rape you”. It was at least 3 times. Twice in the beginning and once right at the end it’s one of the last lines out of the house"
That was so absolutely most certainly not said. This is how rumors get started. Universal would never approve or oversight something like that.

Genuine trigger warning here, if heard correctly:

"one of the main lines in the house is “I’m gonna rape you”. It was at least 3 times. Twice in the beginning and once right at the end it’s one of the last lines out of the house"

This absolutely has to be something that was misheard, there’s no way they’d do something this stupid.

I know it's just TM night so it'll probably change but uh.. the zones seem, idk, off?

None of the costumes in the zones have impressed me so far (from the pictures)

It's a rehearsal, of course, but I'll admit the clips coming out give me a bit of pause. Most seem to lack a clear energy or purpose at this (very early) point in time - even Vamp feels a little barren?

Not sure if misheard or an attempt from the movie at a "crucifix-esque" scene, but yeah. Hopefully the former.

Hey, I'd be shocked too. Just throwing it out there to get confirmation so that some people aren't going through without expecting it if it's real. Two separate people said they heard it FWIW.
More than likely they misheard - all the noise and commotion I can see how maybe … especially going in with the pretense of hearing that word.. ears can be tricky. I have a hard time believing this claim

I do wonder how much the energy in the zones is impacted by the relatively small crowd at the park for preview night. my sense is, much like going to a live sporting event, a lot of the energy is supplied by the crowd.

Very fair point. I guess my fear is if I can only clock something like eight characters in a 45 second clip when the zones are pretty empty... how's that going to go when the real crowds arrive?

agreed! it'll be interesting to hear what the reception is come friday night... but given how wide the walkways are in many of the scare zones, you'd hope to see more actors roaming around.

Okay. Discord just got verification from a scareactor who said it's not in the house and is "eat you". Sorry for the chaos, ya'll.

Well it's not the actors but the props and few costumes we saw around on pics seem off.
Vamp definitely does not feel like a scarezone at all. Almost feels like a part of Mardi gras or something. The shipyard zone feels very off. Theme wise, music wise. It's probably ly nothing but none of the zones seem amazing so far

I mean, the thought crossed my mind earlier but I tried to ignore it.

What are the odds that the zone budgets were just.. pretty small this year? With all the massive IP and what not.
