I remember thinking it was strange standing next to a red curb in line for LC last year. Makes sense that they would utilize Mummy's outdoor q

Speaking with others, the road that the queue for Mummy Overflow was on a fire road, so it might be possible a reason stems further in that they just don’t have the means to have that road be used for queue anymore. And as a result, have to figure out a creative solution to deal with queue.
Wait a second… that actually makes sense. There used to be a second fire access road by Transformers but that, I believe, is blocked by SNW now. It could be that they don’t want to crowd what is now (I’m pretty sure) the only fire lane to get into the lower lot.

It raises a question to ST4, as I have to think that is gonna be added come tomorrow. The SS15 Venue got downgraded in queue space, as they can’t use the SNW entrance as part of it due to access and flow. Have to think that gets added in too, as it’s a very small queue now for a massive IP.

I have talked with Ethan (@ethanuniversal) on it and it makes the most sense. Would allow them to control flow for the venue .

Reading this thread bums me out because it seems the only good experience is going to be RIP. Every year they oversell express and makes thise lines fill up. Looking at you Scarecrow. EE was at least a way to get
A few mazes in. I have FF so I am just going to do a few each visit but it sucks for a 1 time visitor with stand by.
My plan is go during EA and get as much done as I can.....if the other mazes are a mess by 7PM then I enjoy the shows/tram and take a nap or wait until 11PM and get the rest of the mazes done.

If I could have upgraded to express now I would....but its free with a pass....so I can't

So you have to check vq at some point in the app? And then it prob just sells out for the night?
I'd be checking every 30 mins for sure if you want to get on it before it sells out.

As another poster said as well, you could get a VQ ticket for last of us and do other mazes while you wait

4 mazes at the LL with Super, Jurassic, Transformers and the Mummy is nuts. This is where they really need the back lot to spread it out. RIP BACK Lot.
Would have been amazing because then they could have had a whole Last of Us Scare Zone in the New York sets as well or Hawkings.

The last event that I just stuck with me was when Ghost busters was back there. It just fit in so well and it's just a fun rush walking down and getting to see the Metro sets up close.

Ill be going september 21st. I hope it isn't too bad. The thing is shouldn't the event have less capacity than Orlando just due to the fact that the park has less physical space?

If the opening nights from previous years are any indication, a general admission ticket should still get you in every house by park close. Maybe that's not the case anymore (speaking personally, I really hope that's not the case lol), but I feel confident.

The rest of the season? Express is required. Has been since the pandemic break. You will not get to every house without one.

Agreed, though I think it's interesting (and perhaps telling) that opening night (and the accompanying early entry passes) have yet to sell out.
