All I've heard (as has been reported on here) is that it's a full gut-and-replace, aka not just a retheme.

I'm glad it sounds like it's going to be a whole new attraction within the building instead of an overlay. There was a bit of concern it would have utilized the old ride track and Scoop with a simple retheming of the existing scenes. Thanks for the update!

This thing is also located inside a box. No way to get a look at what's going on in there.

How do we send Bio in a chopper with an x-ray cam?

I'm honestly curious on how different the attractions will be re: Japan's Vs Florida's. I don't remember who it was, maybe @Alicia or someone else but they said Florida wouldn't be getting the same ride Japan is. I know Florida is rumored to be getting more than just a ride (a whole land) so it makes sense. I just wonder if that rumor has changed and they'll both be the same or if there's any update about that at all

Are both version of Spider-Man the same (building and track layout)? If so, then unless Orlando's version was going to get replaced too then it would have to be a different ride or at least a new layout at minimum since the space being used would differ.

Ah yes. I had his profile pictured in my head but I forgot the username lol. I wonder what happened to him... hope the Universal snipers didn't come

Tomfoolery came across as someone who worked at Universal who was placed on the forums to drop updates to us the theme park nerds. But I am guessing he said too much at some point and Universal decided it wasn't worth doing anymore. Though FWIW towards the end of 2024 he did reappear and liked a couple of posts.

You guys haven't been paying attention to this thread have you? @saint.piss he posted right before you on that page just a few days ago.

I do enjoy those kinds of insights as a fan. On the one hand I get the need for confidentiality buuuuuut at the same time most of those things don't gain traction outside of these nerdier circles anyway. Hopefully more things like that can come along in the future.

@tommyhawkins and @Tomfoolery aren't the same person lol. To answer your question, I think Japan's version of Spider-Man was a bigger building but same layout... I think. I'm not 100% sure. But the thing is like I said in one of my other posts, @Alicia and @Tomfoolery said the attractions will be completely different. Not like slightly different, they're not going to be the same ride at all. At least that's the rumor for now

With the Pokémon Presents coming in a few days, I am gonna throw out a prediction.

I think it’s time we get the announcement of the new Pokémon attraction. With this coming Pokémon Direct seeming to be a notable year with Legends Z-A (and potentially Synapse), I think they’re gonna acknowledge Osaka as part of their full 2025/Early 2026 roadmap.

I think it’s time, it wouldn’t be out of pocket either as Pokémon Presents have been often an element for them to show off licensed/external media ontop of their own development works.
