Wouldn't completely trust TLEV on the matter. They've been very wrong on a lot of topics in the past so maybe that's true, maybe it isn't, but I wouldn't say it's a hard no for Soundstage 12 just yet, we just have to wait and see.

Could’ve sworn Spielbergs UFO film has yet to enter production, so it might make sense.

Spielberg typically has used SS12 for bigger productions. Jurassic Park, Kingdom of The Crystal Skull, and for a few others if I recall. Could make some sense if they are gearing up for production that they might need the biggest stage on the lot for something.
