This is so HHN Hollywood. If this were Orlando they would whip up an original with what united resources they have. This is inexcusably lazy.
It could also be them reading the tea leaves, I'm not trying to be doom and Gloom, spring break seems to be fairy busy at USH but attendance per from what we are hearing USH went down a good deal of people last year and thats with HHN being packed last year.
So could also be them budgeting because they see the trend heading down this year still
1) Fast and Furious not being open until Summer meaning only 6 months will get a boost from the attraction
2) They have closed down the Hollywood and Dine for almost a month this year to save money, plus last Grinchmas they didn't open the Minion/SLOP until an hour after opening...I'm pretty sure even in 2024 they had busy days where all rides open at opening but further showing they are trying to save money
3) Fan Fest seems to still be trying to get people to come in for the second year and if that doesn't make as much money as last year it could lower the budget for other events
4) Most Haunt fans will come no matter what, we can talk about Florida but locally nothing beats HHN. Knotts is great but its only 1 or two new houses a year, so if people dislike bringing back old houses....yeah please point me to an event as big as HHN not doing that in some way.
5) Gas Prices and Travel are being affected by events right now and they are not sure if its worth it then year to invest in making a new house over reusing an old house. That for many people will be new or even people like my wife won't remember going on, so basically new for many people who go and aren't haunt fans
But last year feels like they pulled out all stops and this year has some things that will make fans happy but it will be hard to top last year..things just a lined up so well.
