I trust you're telling the truth, but is there any video of this?

I googled it, it's probably somewhere in this video:

Edit: Theme park talk starts around 13:58

Hey! I've been following these Harry Potter updates for a long time now, and I thought, hey, I should do some talking soon!

I just wanted to note something about watching films, since I've seen both LOTR and HP quite a few times. I think it's often the case that people use external emotional forces to judge the quality of a film instead of the nuances of the film itself.

Granted, the first Lord of the Rings is a long film, but getting a good rest before can help. I personally think all three together are the most satisfying of trilogies, with one of the most emotionally satisfying endings.

I got a migraine watching the first and also refuse to watch the others :) I remember thinking, I can't wait until this movie is over, if that is the case with a movie, I don't think I am enjoying it :)

As for the first Harry Potter, sure there's a bunch of obnoxious kids in it, but I don't think it's a likely cause for a migraine. I think if one can deal with Disneyland then this movie should be a walk in the park. Harry Potter starts off with two family films, but get more interesting as they go along. I'd say power through them without your preconceived notions and you'll see why they're so popular.

Movie's require awareness, and if your not fully attentive, or you are having crappy day, these emotions project themselves and trump the value of the movie itself. I know that if I watch the first half of a film one day, and the other the next, the slight lag between the two greatly affects my appreciation. This was the case when I watched Dr. Strangelove for the first time, but even with films that I own (Like Inception) which I usually enjoy I disliked watching in sections. Films are one continues story, and if something happens to detract from that then your not going to have a good time.

It's same way with Theme Parks, and why the exposed ride building for Forbidden Journey can be so obnoxious. Luckily the whole land is incredibly immersive, keeping one's eye on the other fantastic designs.

Well, Dyer let that cat out of the bag, huh? Makes me wonder yet again when we'll get official word of this...

The Sentinel had a brief quote from Universal spokesman Tom Schroder about the Mayor's mention to WWoHP expansion.

I was actually talking about LOTR, not Harry Potter. Love the Harry Potter films. I agree, mood really does make you like or dislike a movie in some respects. But some movies can hit you a certain way no matter what your mood is. LOTR is way too long for me, dragged on (even before migraine), and like I said I kept wondering when it was over. Yes, my migraine did not help, I will admit to that :)

Has anybody noticed that the Whomping Willow hasn't been operational for the past week or so? Anybody know what's going on with it?

That's the only thing I noticed off when I rode on Sat. Every other effect was working just fine, even the Dementor's Kiss effect.

Yeah, it wasn't working my last two visits; this past Thursday and the Thursday before that. The snow effect in the queue was also really weak.

The snow effect wasn't even working last time I was there (about a month ago).

Keep in mind the effect alternates between snow and thunder.

Everyone write to WB and JKR, and let them know the WW isn't being kept up to snuff... it is falling apart like a traveling carnival.

So, is there something seriously wrong with The Womping Willow? Is there any chance it could become a Disco Willow?

The only reason Disco Yeti is down for this long is because to fix it they would have to fix the mountain, and they refuse to shut down their signature attraction for that long. We are not going to get a Disco Willow, especially right before the biggest wave of crowds Uni has seen.
