I noticed that as well, also, I've been able to see more Dementors in the chamber of secrets, and DAAANG!!! there are a bunch of them!!! Hahaha

I thought I had seen more Dementors when we went last week than I had seen on previous vacations. Thanks for the confirmation.

I'd be surprised if the snow doesn't make an appearance. The whole plaza has a warmer (as in color temperature), more saturated feel to it right now. Dragon Challenge seems much more prominent in your view between the archway and the station entrance. One of the pieces of concept art for the station depicts the track painted brown like the Hippogriff track, so I'm hoping that happens at some point.

I saw a pair of girls trying to figure out how to get into Zonko's. They walked in the door, walked back out and checked the signage, then tried to see if perhaps the entrance was around the corner.

I noticed that yesterday, the new projectors in the 3rd carousel are outputting so much light that I could see the dormant Dementors just before the dome. It looks like they've been wrapped in black fabric but you can tell what they were.

I know it's trivial, but the lack of aging on the directional sign and the lack of soot in the lamps that is present on the lamps within the village itself really bothers me

On instagram, "radleytheory" took a photo of the HE queue. Its nothing crazy but it shows how forested the area is in hogsmead.

It'll be covered, but yeah, it is curious that it's a megaphone instead of a regular speaker. I'm sure a PA system could be hooked up to a regular speaker, too. :shrug:

I believe they are going for the kind of twangy, limited dynamic range found in megaphone style speakers.

I would have preferred a normal high quality speaker system playing a very stylised, obviously screechey and exaggerated audio if this is the effect they're going for. Regular megaphone-style rubbish is fine for the Kings Cross end, but I'd have expected a zany, Weasley-esque magical talking megaphone kind of thing for this end personally.

I have been told that when you exit the station in Hogsmeade, the new view is really incredible. Just trees and the arch visible as you exit the station area. The sound in the area is great with thematic music playing as BGM and random owl hoots coming from all around in the trees. Once those trees fill in a little more, this will be one of the best themed areas of the park.

If they are keeping DC longterm, I would hope that a different paint scheme is in the works. It's too bad to spoil all of the authenticity and detail with a fading red and turquoise coaster.:doh:
