The insiders on Magic are saying the Tower of Terror change is because the Capt. America coaster project was cancelled due to the Shanghai cost over runs. TOT would be a cost effective replacement.

We gotta start a save Disney and find somebody right now. Not at this moment, but soon because the fans of the mouse are gonna get heated up; Everyone, get your pitchforks ready! :)

If anything, I see Tom Staggs as a interesting individual to look forward in the WDCs future as a corporation, but that's my two cents.

Back to the rumor though, I'd wonder if its true, on how they'll handle the presence of Quill, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot.

Guardians of the Galaxy was probably my favorite movie of 2014. But I don't even want to THINK of how this will play out if it has anything to do with TOT.

I don't mean to be a killjoy, but what if the concept for this is actually good?

This is up there with Fallon as far a curiosity factor.

It does make you curious to how they'd pull it off. It though, has a larger amount of controversy than Fallon if its the case.

I kind of have to agree with you. I bought my traditional case of Guinness for St. Paddys Day week. But the distributor only had bottles of Guinness Draught in stock.I really prefer the Stout. Super strong but sooooo good. :)

The big problem though is that TOT is a great classic. If it was just an average attraction, no big deal. As one who grew up with Rod Serling and the Twilight Zone, this is just short of sacriligious.....Short aside: When I was quite young I watched a talk show that interviewed Serling. There were lots of serious talk shows back then. Anyway, Serling said most of his stories on the Twilight Zone came from his dreams. He kept a notepad on his night desk. And if he woke up in the middle of a dream, he would write down the dream on the note pad. I always thought that was cool as all heck, and probably why so many of his stories were so original & unique.

If that's really the case there's a much better way to go about it by adopting the original story developed for ToT at TDS. This is just brainless.

Some Disney fans just infuriate me. There's another thread on Magic about Zootopia M&G characters and someone posted some very alarming tweets from "fans." They want Zootopia to take over Splash Mountain. I can't even.........

I have to hand it to you Mike. You keep your cool when posting over there, and you debate some of that wild talk really well. I could never post over there. After a day or two of Photo Dave, Capt. America and the rest, my blood pressure would be boiling to STROKE levels. Lot's of good Disney info over there. And the people that post on both Magic & OU, for the most part, are decent theme park fans. But there is so much anger & hostility over there, and rarely does anyone joke around and lighten up, that there's no way I could deal with it. I'll read it for info when I'm bored, but that's enough for me. :)

I don't drink beer, but my husband does. He will try anything once, but he typically does not like stouts. I will do hard cider though.

It wouldn't be as bad as that situation with a cake awhile back; but still, a way of pissing off the communities.

Well, as dumb as this rumor is, we can all agree photo dave is a douche. (He's not a member here so it's not a personal attack - it's an impersonal behind the back general acknowledgement of his asshattery. They do it all the time to me over there so fair is fair.)
