That was exactly the first thing I thought! It definitely helps with taking the attention off all of the supporting structures. They also look fun too.

Construction update video from The Orlando Seeker, not much we haven't seen from recent pictures other than the left side of the volcano (when looking from the wave pool) has stated to go up!

It seems a little odd to me that they're building the slides up with no platform to attach to. I thought it would be a lot easier to build the platform and all the plumbing first from a logistics point of view and to make sure the slides aren't damaged when lifting a huge concrete slab into place.

They will probably pour the concrete decks in place, assuming they are going with concrete.

Those racer tracks appear very very tall compared to the other water parks in the area. Am I mistaken?

They have a new catapult>funnel system to launch people into the mouth of the slides.

Wow, just looked in on VB as I drove by and the green slide tower is HUGE. The purple towers are going up fast on the other side. I would have snapped pictures but I was in my car rubbernecking and causing enough of a traffic backup... :D

First Good pictures of the new slides from D987! so much steel going up too, I like the height of the support structures for those slides, looks like they have a way to go yet.

I somehow find that disparaging to all the previous photographers...

And side note: why are we so excited to see slides built at a water park? Lol.

With no Kong, it doesn't take a lot to get people excited. :)

I'm so far from being local :( however I can't wait to visit again, going to be a painfully long wait for all the new attractions to be finished in the next couple of years.

Personally for me considering I work in the construction industry seeing projects progress is something I enjoy and appreciate and when you live so far away and its expensive to fly over from the UK, something a lot of people struggle to afford, I am always pleased to see visual updates!

Some people like the process of how something becomes what it is. Not many people but some of us do.

Lol. It was less a commentary about construction interest and more a commentary on our expectations. We're like "omg! A slide"

Dear lord, what were we expecting them to build?

One thing I like about being a local, everything is cheaper. The same Vacation a Family of 4 takes, I can take about 8, so I never take being here for granted. Absolutely blessed to be in Orlando.
