What if the icons are the children of La Llorona. The sons she drowned.

Submerged skull -> Drowning victim
Our time -> Two children were killed.
Detailing of the skull -> Day of the Dead
Candles -> Catholic tradition of mourning the dead
Red roses -> Love/Family

That would certainly be different.

I'm gonna laugh when all this stuff they released today turns out to be nothing, but man it's fun to have stuff to speculate about.

However a day of the dead thing would be cool. As a Brit it's not something I've ever encountered except in Epcot.

I'd just be happy with La Llorona coming back. We loved that house.

While the tagline is still curious, Caretaker represented Death in Fear's series of totems (Jack was Chaos). If Chance was the female Chaos, it wouldn't be Cindy who is death, it would literally be Lady Death.

Cindy would likely be Vengeance.
