IMO I never liked anime cartoons and that genre of artwork or illustartion. I never found it appealing or very creative compared to something like Harry Potter which I did like when I was little. One was more colorful and couldn't go beyond that, compared to potter which is the total opposite. Nintendo IMO suits USJ more than Orlando because of cultural reasons, but I do have my younger brothers who do like it and I guess from my perspective in the past few years with Pokemon go; another crowd that this largely appeals to are middle aged men, sitting in a chair for hours on the computer, being overweight, and obsessing over this game. I know that it sounds stupid but these people are the majority at comic con and are hours on end playing Pokemon go. I focus more on that perspective than the general public liking it which I see as well. I don't really like anything about it. The art, the characters, the annoying and reptactive music, etc. This is my educated opinion as some might say an uneducated opinion is wrong. I know this bran is family friendly, kid friendly, a lot of people like it, but I honestly don't see why. I sorta focus on the obsessive side of it but I've been like this since I was little, as well as my twin brother.
Yeah saying Pokémon go players and the such are overweight losers is why people have issues with your posts.

Edit: I know that a lot of people like it and it's kind of a steyoptype for people who like it, but I know this doesn't define even half the people who play this. It's just that a lot of people who like this brand are like some of my descriptions and it's something that I frown down app on as not being successful. Also, I'm an artist and my instructor who has prepare me to go into design schools has told me to educate myself with detailed work and creative illustartion, which is something that Nintendo is not.

Did I miss something? How do you sit on your couch for hours playing Pokemon Go?

Saying that it's silly because you dislike the art style (even though there are many throughout the brand) and because it appeals to overweight men (even though Nintendo are heavily into fitness with the Wii and Pokemon Go) is far from an educated opinion.

It makes me laugh especially considering the Wii remains to be one of the best selling systems of all time, with the Switch gaining public interest as that you don't think the GP care about Nintendo?

An educated opinion requires you to educate yourself on something, which you evidentially haven't. Nintendo has been around for years and is close to many people's hearts old and young - it doesn't matter if you like it or not to see that.

Here is the flip side, some people have that side of thought, albiet a few; it still does hold merit at some times.

Do I think that, no; but that I think things differently.

What I don't like, is that Luke says of an educated opinion, and that; I will leave to Brian. That said, I think we should, get..:topic:

Theme parks are like onions...

With the fourth gate, if you will; there will be layers of subjects of which that people may or may not like. Now, this doesn't have to be primarily on the theme park itself, but perhaps the infastructure of the park. Either way, there will be negativity for the park in either the smallest of ways, or the largest.

No park, is perfect. And that it shouldn't be, or-else it's boring in a sense.

Listen, I lived in a very strict household and my parents limited me to things I could watch, read, and do. along with being an artist, my parents wanted me to only improve my work with things that would only help me improve. I was never allowed video games or any free time. I was constantly being taught by other teachers and tutors that my parents hired for me to read and progress in my studies. My brother the same thing. A lot of ones perspectives and opinions come from the way your parents raised you. Kinda like racism and politics. My parents never allowed me video games or anything related to that. My step brothers were allowed this freedom but not me and my brother. I was taught by multiple people that if I wanted to be educated and grow in my work, I was not allowed this. My parents are from Spain and Cuba so they weren't educated on a lot of American things while I was growing up. I know now that video games and people associated with playing them are not what neither my parents or teachers taught me they were. I know they aren't lazy and uneducated people. I KNOW. but there are those who can be associated with this description and it's a bullet point in the list of things that I don't like about Nintendo of video games in general.

I understand this, but it's best to realize what you're saying on a public message board before posting it.

So you'd be opposed to any video games?

I'm not saying that Nintendo is bad or people who play it are. It's a very nice thing that a lot of people like, I just don't like it for what a lot of people taught me it was.

I don't like video games and I've almost never played them. When I have I think they are boring and pointless. I don't oppose to hardly any since I'm not educatedin games like black ops, Call of Duty, or Halo things like that. I can't say I don't like them because I hardly know what it's about. On the other hand, Mario and Nintendo have been out for a while and my parents never liked the fact that any child was wasting money and time on this. They were very traditional.

Edit: I'm referring to that fact that I don't like video games because even though I've hardly played them, I have once or twice at a friends house and I don't find it fun in that sense.

Umm, video games aren't supposed to have a point. They're supposed to entertain. Also, you could say that movies, books, and art don't have a point too. THEY'RE MEANT TO ENTERTAIN. Also, no offense, but you had bad parents

Well you can get more out of some things than others. Video games v.s reading ? My parents aren't bad just were taught a certain way like they did to me. I agree w a lot of their points because you learn almost everything from your parents.
