It seems some posters are determined to have FB or JW in the new park even though there is no reason to. Leave those franchises at the original parks and build this park from scratch not just throwing the hottest IPs in there.

JW is/was a solid rumor for the new park long before the new JP coaster rumor started.

I don’t mind what IPs they use, as long as the rides are good.

I never cared about Spider-Man my whole life, but since 1999 when IOA opened, that ride has been my favorite theme park attraction in the world.

I think it's a mistake to have both a JW land and a JP land.
And I also think having JW and Potter in park3 makes it too close to an IOA2.0.

This is exactly my fear because I rather they use some different IPs. Plopping down JW into the new park would be kind of disappointing.

There’s enough difference between JW/JP in attractions, and FB/Potter is setting to distinguish itself from IOA. I don’t think guests care about the differences as much as we think they do.

Not to mention that we’ll have Nintendo, probably an indoor KFP land, and most likely Berk and Far Far Away, maybe even Classic Monsters, to help distinguish itself even further from IOA. It’ll be fine.

Who said we’re getting an indoor KFP land...the only reason China is doing that is because of the weather. Also like I said many times they could redo the whole JP area at IOA into JW for probably much cheaper.

But you can’t have the things that Beijing is getting, except maybe the coaster. And we might not even get that. You have a great IP land with multiple attractions just waiting to be cloned, and you don’t use it? I just don’t see that happening. We’ll either see that coaster in IOA, or the land in the new park.

You can find it on Themeparx, but it seems to be a round like structure that is nearly as large as one of the other showbuildings in the area.

Do you think it is supposed to be the Pteranodon bubble enclosure from JW? That would be a cool structure for the skyline/awesome station building. Reminds me of the old Universal Dubai concept art that had a massive steel and glass arch building in JP

If we’re going by the leaked concept art and possible description for the land, the ride takes place inside both a mountain and the Pteranodon enclosure. It would definitely look great wherever it goes.

So, my friend was at Islands today and tells me that today was the last day of operation for River Adventure, lining up closely with the Hollywood version, per a Team Member. Is that true? My first instinct would be to say no, as it would be one thing to spring the closing of Sindbad on us, but another altogether to do so for Jurassic.

Definitely not. They would give us a warning.

Bear with me, I was gonna do a proper photoshop to better illustrate what I was thinking, but opted to go more... rough... with it. This is not to scale, etc - and just hypothetical on my end.

What if the old "Amber Mine" coaster idea returned - starting the coaster slower, going into a "mountain" Disney Everest style, with stunning amber caves - when suddenly the coaster becomes more thrill oriented as volcanic activity occurs.

The coaster could then escape into the water, with a near miss with a Mosasaurus, and then back into the jungle. There could be some other themed elements, like one or two more dino AA's, and perhaps geysers or geothermal activity/ lighting effects.

WUrsYqq.jpg

Again, this is rough -- blue indicates tracks, yellow would be tunnels/openings.

I’d be down for that, but I’m thinking that JW goes into the new park instead.

Wonderful idea to rework the JP area as the land could be put to better use.

I wonder why those buoys are still there...Some said it was for a new nighttime show...I wonder if it's for a new coaster

Glad you posted this. Based on the Beijing layout that leaked I was imagining a similar look but with the glass dome for the pteranodon enclosure instead of a mountain like you have here. Your idea is awesome though
