Maybe the thing they focused on at the end of End Game. Not that he isn’t worthy, but he doesn’t want it. He doesn’t want to be king of Asgard. He’s going to find his own path.RAGNAROK was great, so I've got to trust Waititi, but I am slightly concerned about them rehashing the "unworthy" storyline (which Thor Odinson was apparently saddled with while Jane Foster took over as Thor in the comics), since the MCU just did a near-brilliant job in INFINITY WAR and ENDGAME in breaking Thor down and then building him back up.
But if Jane's going to be the new "worthy" Thor and you're not doing the unworthy thing again, what are you going to have Hemsworth-Thor up to?

I just came here with the same thought. It'd make sense that she's Thor from some other Universe and the two somehow run into each other after the events of Multiverse of Madness. This film comes after "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness". So it's also possible that she's a Jane from a different universe that appears after what happens in Doctor Strange's film.
